Last night a Californian ticket holder won the Mega Millions jackpot, which had climbed it way up to $266 million. The Tuesday night Mega Millions jackpot, which hadn’t been won for many weeks, was one of the biggest jackpots in Mega Millions history and, if taken as annuity payments, is worth over a quarter of a billion dollars!
The massive Mega Millions jackpot had rolled over since a couple from Illinois won the $20 million jackpot back on the 12th of March, nearly two months ago, but its rolling came to an abrupt end last night when the lucky ticket holder matched the five main lottery numbers plus the Mega Ball to claim the multi-million pound prize.
Last night’s Mega Millions numbers are; 9, 21, 31, 36 and 43 with the Mega Ball being drawn as 8.
