The past six months has seen an enormous EuroMillions haul for UK players with over £300 million being claimed by UK EuroMillions ticket holders since the beginning of the year. The winners of the latest British lottery haul matched all five main lottery numbers and the two lucky stars on Friday to win £12,408,000.

The EuroMillions Lottery has gone from the sublime to the ridiculous recently, swapping its usual rollover routine for a display more fitting of the National Lottery by giving away its jackpot for five draws in a row. First up was the £84 million jackpot which was scooped by a UK lottery player who has chosen to remain anonymous and since then the draw has gone crazy, with players defying odds of 1 in 76,275,360 to win the jackpot every week since.

The lucky lottery winners of Friday night’s EuroMillions jackpot, who are from Sale in Lancashire, have announced that they will be holding a press conference later today at the City of Manchester Stadium which id the home of Manchester City Football Club. We will bring you all of the lottery news stories about the latest EuroMillions Lottery winners as soon as we have them.

Friday’s UK EuroMillions winners are certainly better off now than they were on Thursday but their lottery windfall falls a long way short of the really big UK EuroMillions hauls seen recently. Along with the £84 million jackpot win last month there was also Nigel and Justine Page’s £56million win, a couple from South Wales and a lottery syndicate from Liverpool shared the £91 million rollover jackpot last year and a 76-year-old taxi driver won £26.1million in January.
