The 15 times rollover jackpot for the Powerball lottery has finally been won by one lucky ticket holder who stands to win the 9th biggest jackpot in Powerball history. The winning Powerball ticket was sold by the South Carolina Lottery Board and will see the holder of the ticket take home the enormous $260 million jackpot.
An unexpected upturn in ticket sales for last nights’ Powerball draw saw the rollover jackpot rapidly grow, exceeding the anticipated $240 million which was first predicted. The Powerball jackpot hadn’t been won since way back in July this year but even though the main jackpot wasn’t won in that time there were over 10 million winners of other prizes. The lottery results for last night draw were; 14, 24, 31, 43 and 51 with 27 as the Powerball. The Power Play multiplier was again 5 giving non-jackpot winners who paid the extra $1 to participate receiving a huge 5 times bonus on their winnings.
