On Tuesday night the Mega Millions lottery jackpot was won for the second time in four days but it wasn’t until Wednesday evening that the winning ticket holder realised that he had won a fortune. The 54 year old man from Atlanta matched all five main numbers and the Mega Ball to win the $12 million lottery prize.
Contractor and business owner Wayne Reese from Sharpsburg, Atlanta went about his normal working day on Wednesday without the slightest idea that he was $12 million richer. It wasn’t until that evening when Mr Reese was checking the lottery results that he discovered he’d matched all five main numbers which were; 2, 9, 28, 51, 53 and also the Mega Ball which was number 19. The lucky lottery winner recalled the moment he made his discovery saying that he shouted out to his family “Y’all won’t believe what’s right here!†Mr Reese intends to build new homes for his two adult children. Also he and his wife, Linda plan to remodel their own home with their lottery windfall.
Unfortunately for Mr Reese the enormous $333 million Mega Millions rollover jackpot was won by two lucky ticket holders just four days earlier but I’m sure he will still be more than happy with the $12 million fortune which will accompany his new found status as a Mega Millions jackpot lottery winner.
