$211.7 million Powerball Lottery jackpot was won by one ticket

After weeks and weeks of rollovers the $211.7 million Powerball Lottery jackpot was won by one ticket holder last night. The UK National Lottery also gave away its top prize but this time the £2.5 million jackpot was shared by two ticket holders while the Irish Lottery rolled over, following last week’s £16.7 million haul for one lucky player.

The US Powerball Lottery had rolled over time and time again until last night when one lucky ticket holder matched all five main lottery numbers plus the Powerball to walk away with this enormous lottery fortune. The Wednesday night UK National Lottery numbers are; 2, 10, 16, 19, 33 and 45 with the Bonus Ball being drawn as 30.
