Another massive UK EuroMillions jackpot winner

Over the last six months there have been some enormous lottery winner’s cheques crossing the channel and landing in the UK and last night was no exception. During this week’s Friday night draw there was another massive UK EuroMillions jackpot winner. This time a player from the UK won £39,754,555 for matching all five main lottery numbers plus the two lucky stars.

In contrast to the feeling which the four Lotto jackpot winner must have experienced on Wednesday when they shared a little over £2 million between them, last night’s EuroMillions winner will be jumping for joy to discover that the entire rollover jackpot is theirs. This latest UK EuroMillions jackpot comes in the wake of a string of previous victories for British ticket holders. In February Nigel Page and Justine Laycock scooped £56 million to become the biggest UK lottery winners. In January George Stuart, a 76-year-old cab firm owner and grandad from Dorking in Surrey shared the £52.2 million EuroMillions jackpot and in November a lottery syndicate from Liverpool and a couple from South Wales shared a £91 million EuroMillions jackpot.

Last night’s EuroMillions lottery numbers are; 8, 16, 18, 37 and 43 with the Lucky Stars being drawn as 2 and 6. The Millionaire Raffle number from last night’s EuroMillions draw is: H, L, V, 9, 5, 8, 4, 8, 4.

Last night’s Mega Millions Lottery had a $40 million jackpot to play for but as no players managed to match all five main lottery numbers plus the Mega Ball the jackpot rolls over to Tuesday night’s draw.
