Imagine how you would feel if you bought a lottery ticket, selected the winning lottery numbers and then lost or misplaced your lottery ticket. It’s an awful thing to imagine but it happens on a regular basis, lottery winners failing to collect their prizes. However, the £3.8 million December 2nd mystery lottery jackpot has been claimed by a ticket holder in Kent, avoiding the agony of missing their chance for a multi-million pound lottery windfall.

National Lottery operator, Camelot says they are currently validating a claim for the £3,786,303 lottery jackpot from the draw made on the 2nd of December 2009. While Camelot are going through the process of validating the claim, which includes checks to ensure the National Lottery games rules are adhered to, there is no official news about the identity of the lottery jackpot winner but we can tell you that the ticket was bought in Dover on either the 1st or 2nd of December.

There are many other unclaimed prizes for the National Lottery’s range of games ranging from £50,000 to £3,681,197! The £3.7 million Lotto jackpot from the 23rd of September draw last year is still unclaimed. Time is quickly running out for this particular ticket holder, who has until the 22nd of March to claim their lottery jackpot prize. After this time the money will be donated to the various Good Causes funds.
