Within the last hour a press conference has been held by the second EuroMillions winner of Friday nights draw. Friday night’s EuroMillions draw was a five-time rollover jackpot worth over £91 million and was shared by two tickets. We brought you the news that a lottery syndicate from Liverpool had won one half of the EuroMillions jackpot but until now the identity of the second winner was a mystery.

The press conference took place in the St David Hotel, in Cardiff at 10:20 this morning, fuelling suspicions that the second EuroMillions winner was from Wales. The excitement and anticipation grew before the names of the lottery winners were announced. “And the winners are… Les Scadding and his wife Samantha Peachey-Scadding from Caerleon, South Wales. Les, 53, is an unemployed lorry driver and mechanic while his wife, Samantha, 38, runs her own business.

Les recalls the moment when he checked his ticket at a EuroMillions ticket outlet. “When I asked the people behind the counter to check the numbers, the machine just printed out a pink slip telling me to contact Camelot. I thought I might have won around £50,000 and I rushed home to tell Samantha.” After rushing home Les hurriedly checked the EuroMillions lottery results online where he discovered just how much the winning EuroMillions ticket was.

So one of the biggest jackpots in EuroMillions history has been divided between two winning tickets from the UK, a week ahead of the new Millionaire Raffle which will guarantee to make a UK lottery millionaire every single week.

If you want the chance to win the EuroMillions or any of the other major world lotteries reviewed here at Online Lotto you will need to buy tickets, which you can do so quickly and securely online.
