Roger Gillespie rushed to the newsagent where he always buys his lottery tickets and managed to buy a lucky dip just seconds before the National Lottery terminals close down at 7:30pm but lucky for him that he did, as the last minute lottery ticket won a jackpot of £2,969,627.
