Last week’s £12.4million EuroMillions jackpot winners were announced earlier this week as Nigel and Sharon Mather from Sale in Manchester as once again the cash from Europe has made its way to the shores of the UK. Their winning lottery ticket was bought on holiday after Sharon’s dad, John Morris, paid for the couple and their two young children to take a caravan holiday in Rhyl.

This latest addition to the enormous EuroMillions haul for UK players wasn’t the only money that the lucky couple won last weekend either. Before realising that she had won the EuroMillions Lottery jackpot Sharon won £10 playing the Saturday night National Lottery draw, she won £20 on a lottery scratchcard and Nigel won a £25 premium bond prize but all of these wins are put in the shade of the massive £12,408,000 EuroMillions jackpot.

Now that the news of their fantastic EuroMillions lottery fortune has sunk in Sharon and Nigel’s attention has turned to motorcars. While Nigel has his eye on a gallon guzzling £40,000 Audi Q7 fourwheel drive Sharon has much more modest tastes, with an £11,000 Peugeot 207 in her sights.

The lucky lottery winning couple are both going to leave their jobs, which is understandable when you have £12 million in the bank. Sharon had recently returned to work following maternity leave but is glad to be able to stay at home once again with the children as she was missing them. Nigel, a hotel manager, is looking forward to Christmas dinner at home for the first time in 25 years.
