Investigators in the case of missing Powerball Lottery jackpot winner, Abraham Shakespeare have discovered the remains of a body. Lottery winner, Shakespeare went missing in 2008 with an official missing persons case being opened in April 2009 but this turned into a murder investigation by the beginning of this year and it is now believed that the lottery winners body has been discovered.

On Tuesday night, one of the contestants of a US TV lottery game show was run over and killed by a car, in what appears to be a tragic accident. The Ohio Lottery prize winner died while celebrating her windfall with friends in a local bar.

Lottery grant for Giants Causeway

The National Trust has secured £3 million in funding from the National Lottery’s Heritage Lottery Fund to assist in the building of a new, state of the art visitors centre at Giants Causeway in Northern Ireland. The £3 million lottery grant for Giants Causeway from the Heritage Lottery Fund will kick-start the £18 project, with work due to start as soon as May this year.
