Euromillions winner settles out of court

Nigel Page a 44 year lottery winner from Gloucester who picked up £56 million earlier this year was forced to give a share of his winnings to his ex wife. Nigel was sued by his ex wife even though she left him and ran off with another man back in the year 2000 taking his daughter with her. His ex wife Wendy took Nigel to court and originally wanted an £8 million chunk of his fortune but the Euromillions winner settled out of court agreeing to pay her £2 million. This is the first time a lottery winner in the UK has been successfully sued for a share of their winnings and is sure to send shivers down the spines of divorced winners everywhere.
